Item # M05 Rice pilaf AND Bulghur cracked wheat pilaf

(not included:  3 TBLSP butter or olive oil)         Serves 6  

• Pour 2 and 1/3 cups water in medium saucepan, over medium heat. 
• Add butter or oil and bring mixture to simmer.

• Dissolve contents of package and stir briefly, until dissolved.
•  Bring mixture to a simmer.
• Cover pan and simmer for 20 minutes.

• Pilaf is done after 20 minutes, or when tiny holes appear in the top. 
• Stir before serving. 

       (Strict instructions passed down through the ages! ) 

• Do NOT stir pilaf while cooking. 
• Do NOT open the lid while cooking. 
• Could make the pilaf mushy and interrupt the cooking. Oh my!
