Item # M03 Kufta "bouncy ballies" Meatballs Kit

Included in kit: Packet 1, 2, 3 Makes 20-30 meatballs in broth

(not included: 1 lb. ground beef, lamb or turkey)

Step 1

·In medium bowl, soak Packet #1 (onions) in 2/3 cup hot water for 2 minutes.
Add contents of Packet #2 (meat spices) and blend.

Add ground meat to the onions/spice mixture and blend thoroughly.

Step 3

Form meat mixture into meatballs, about 2” round or oval shapes.
Makes about 20 meatballs, but you can make them smaller to get about 30 appetizer-sized meatballs

step 4

Pour 6 cups water into large pot over medium high heat.
Add contents of Packet #3 (broth) and bring to a boil stirring to dissolve into a nice broth.

step 5

When broth comes to a boil, drop meatballs into broth one at a time.
Bring the mixture to a simmer.

step 6

Simmer meatballs for 20 minutes, uncovered.
Cover pot, then simmer 10 minutes more, for even more tender meatballs.
Serve as a soup, or appetizer, and top with a dollop of plain yogurt if you want a little extra zing!
