Included in Kit: 3 packets (Needed from your pantry 2 sticks butter (1 cup) Makes 14-16 rolls
STEP 1
In small bowl, mix yeast (Packet #1) with 2 TBLSP lukewarm water (not hot) and set aside. In large 2 quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove pan from heat.

Step 2
Add 1 cup cool water to melted butter in pan.
Add contents of Package #2 (dry ingredients) and roughly blend with a spoon until dry ingredients are moistened. Mixture should be lukewarm (not hot.)
Step 3
Add dissolved yeast mixture, and blend well
Knead dough, for 5 minutes, until dough has the texture of a "baby's bottom" as my grandmother Satenig would say (“Sattymommy”)
Step 4
Cover pan, and let dough rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour
Preheat oven to 400˚ F. Prepare clean surface, counter or cutting board for making shapes: sprinkle with scant amount of flour from Package #2.
Step 5
Using 1/4 -1/3 cup portions, make 1” ropes. Form into shapes, braids or twists (3 to 4” in size). Sprinkle hands or work surface with flour if dough is too sticky (Packet #3).
